Applying to any South London College
Course is simple. So too is the admissions process.
Step 1 - Applying
First
you must complete an application form as the first step of the application
process. Once you have decided on the course that you wish to study, you simply
complete the application form online or fill it out manually by printing a hard
copy from the College website and return it to the College - together with two
passport-sized photographs and copies of all or your latest educational
qualifications for evaluation by the Application Review Committee. Please check
that you meet the Entry Requirements of the course you are applying for.
Unless specified in the course details, there is no official closing date for
applications. However, you are recommended to apply early enough to reserve your
place at College. Once you have completed one of these applications, you should
send us your supporting
documents.
Step 2 - Receiving an Offer
Once we have received your
application and supporting documents, our admissions department will review your
application and, provided that you meet the entry criteria of the course that
you have applied for, we will give you a conditional offer by email and/or
letter. You can expect to receive a decision on your application within 7
working days of us receiving your application.
Step 3 - Accepting the
Offer
In order
to accept an offer from the College, students will be required to pay part of
their tuition fees ‘up front’, as explained in the conditional offer
email/letter. Students who pay the entirety of their tuition fees in advance may
be eligible to receive some discount up to 10% (terms and conditions apply).
Once we receive the tuition fees, we will issue a confirmation of payment to you
and then you will be required to come to the college with your original
certificates and proof of ID (e.g. passport/birth certificate) to complete your
enrolment.
Payment Confirmation
We request that we are provided with notification and relevant information of
any payments made in our favour. If the payment was made directly into our
account, you must confirm the deposit by giving us the following details:
-
Date the payment was
made.
-
The value of the payment.
-
The address of the bank
from which the deposit was made.
-
The sort code of the bank
from which the deposit was made.
The payment verification
process would be greatly accelerated if you could send a copy or receipt of your
payment by post, fax or by scan and e-mail.
Step 4 - Accommodation
If you would like the College
to arrange accommodation for you for the duration of your studies, please
remember to inform us of your requirements no less than two weeks in advance of
the start of your course.
Step 6 - Final
Registration
You are advised to come to the college
at least a week before your course commencement date to complete your enrolment
formalities. Please bring your original certificates and proof of ID (e.g.
passport/birth certificate) with you. Be advised that you will need to sign an
instalment plan agreement for the balance of
your tuition fees before the commencement of your course. Your college ID card
and proof of enrolment will be processed upon your enrolment. If you are an
international student and your student visa needs to be extended for the period
of study, please bring a fully completed FLR(S) form (which can be downloaded from
the Home
Office website) along with your supporting documents.
Your college ID card and proof of enrolment will be
processed upon your enrolment. The first week will be the induction week and the
first day of your course start day will be the induction day. The final
time-table will usually be distributed on the induction day.
